baseball and stuff...

an informal monologue on some of my favorite baseball teams (Major League, Minor League & Portland Baseball too).

Bottom of the 9th, 1 on, 1 out, and it's Gagne vs. Bonds. Absolutely intense. Barry unleashed #662 in Right Centerfield, which was preceded by a mammoth foul ball splash hit into McCovey Cove. I'm just so glad he's seein pitches to hit.

We lost this one by one run (Final 3-2, L.A.), but it was good to see our Ace on the mound again. Props to O. Perez, though. His pitching nearly shut us out. Thank you, Barry!
